Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee (SUDP/T) - Spanish Bilingual
This position provides a variety of services for the Substance Abuse program, including regular outpatient treatment and prevention for Youth and Adults, under the direction and supervision of a Certified SUDP who meets the requirements of WAC 388-805.
The ideal candidate will provide outpatient evaluations, assessments, and counseling to individuals, groups, and families. They will also be responsible for preparing client records, consulting with other professionals/agencies, and completing reports as needed.

This full-time in-person position works 8 hours a day between 8 AM - 8 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient evaluations, assessments, and counseling to individuals, groups, and families.
- Prepare concise, complete, and timely client records according to state and agency requirements.
- Consult and collaborate with other professionals/agencies on client evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
- Complete other reports and letters pertinent to direct services with clients.
- Maintain active contact with County/City probation departments and other legal resources.
- Provide or assist in providing community outreach.
- Work with other resources, such as agency Mental Health, Prevention, and Domestic Violence staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree with 2 years' experience in Chemical Dependency.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish.
- Experience in the chemical dependency field is strongly desired.
- Current Substance Abuse Disorder Professional/Trainee (SUDP/T) License.
- Skilled in understanding Hispanic/Latino cultural issues and sensitivity.
- Valid WA State Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
