Survivor Behavioral Health Therapist- Spanish Bilingual preferred- Renton, WA
Consejo Counseling and Referral Service is looking to hire a Full-time Survivor Behavioral Health Therapist for our Renton, WA location.

Summary of Job Description:
As a survivor behavioral health therapist at Consejo, you will be part of an integrated care program that uniquely supports survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Your role will involve providing trauma-focused psychotherapy and advocacy-based counseling to help survivors overcome safety barriers. You will also have the opportunity to offer trauma-informed intervention, prevention, and outreach services to non- or limited-English proficient Latinx survivors who do not have access to standard health insurance. In addition, you will be instrumental in advocacy services, including advocacy-based counseling, safety planning, DV crisis support services, outreach, economic empowerment and wellness programming for survivors, and domestic violence community engagement.
The therapist completes high-quality clinical documentation including but not limited to intake, assessment, treatment plan, individual services, group services, care coordination, advocacy-based counseling, crisis services, and other advocacy services. The therapist follows and abides by the agency's confidentiality, policies, and procedures and mandated reporting requirement of child abuse/neglect as required by chapter 26.44 RCW, Abuse of Children.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SURVIVOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- MHP preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience providing mental health counseling and case management services.
- Active State of Washington Counselor License as the Department of Health requires.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish.
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office products.
- Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time therapy position works a typical 8 AM - 5 PM schedule, Monday to Friday.
SALARY
$26.44 - $33.65/hr. Based on Experience and Education.
