Job Description :
- Create a positive first impression for patients and ensure they feel cared for.
- Prepare patients for evaluations and assist clinical providers by documenting vital signs, medical history, and updating electronic medical records.
- Provide direct patient care by taking temperature, pulse, screenings, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Assist physicians by maintaining workflow, organizing exam rooms, and managing supplies.
- Screen patient requests and perform tasks such as blood draws and POC testing as directed.
- Follow instructions closely and report observations indicative of patient reactions to treatments.
- Maintain practice workflow to ensure timely appointments and reduce wait times.
- Schedule accurate initial evaluations, follow-up appointments, and handle cancellations.
- Initiate appointment reminder calls professionally and courteously.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to facilitate positive customer relationships.
- Prioritize duties and responsibilities, ensuring completion accurately and timely.
- Maintain confidentiality and update knowledge through appropriate channels.
- Obtain and enter patient history, chief complaints, and update medication lists in EMRs.
