About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to develop and lead comprehensive strategic planning initiatives in the environmental sector. This role requires expertise in crafting action-oriented strategies and guiding assessments of organizational structures and operational landscapes. The role is dependent upon contract award. We are seeking a 1 year commitment for this role with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic plans in collaboration with leadership.
• Guide the operational assessment processes and collaborate on strategic considerations.
• Conduct analyses and provide recommendations to support strategic objectives.
• Facilitate strategic planning workshops and sessions.
• Document strategic frameworks and ensure alignment with federal directives.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Organizational Development, Environmental Policy, Business Strategy, Public Administration, or a similar field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning within government settings, particularly in resource management or environmental sectors.
• Expertise in policy analysis and regulatory alignment.
• Ability to pass a government clearance.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• In-depth knowledge of strategic planning methodologies and tools.
• Strong facilitation skills with experience in guiding strategic decision-making processes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
