About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to develop and lead comprehensive strategic planning initiatives in the environmental sector. This role requires expertise in crafting action-oriented strategies and guiding assessments of organizational structures and operational landscapes. The role is dependent upon contract award. We are seeking a 1 year commitment for this role with the potential to extend.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans in collaboration with leadership.
- Guide the operational assessment processes and collaborate on strategic considerations.
- Conduct analyses and provide recommendations to support strategic objectives.
- Facilitate strategic planning workshops and sessions.
- Document strategic frameworks and ensure alignment with federal directives.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Environmental Policy, Business Strategy, Public Administration, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning within government settings, particularly in resource management or environmental sectors.
- Expertise in policy analysis and regulatory alignment.
- Ability to pass a government clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of strategic planning methodologies and tools.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience in guiding strategic decision-making processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and strategic documentation.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
