About the Position
The Conservation Legacy organization is dedicated to connecting young adults with conservation service work projects on public lands. Our Individual Placement Program offers individuals the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while contributing to the conservation of our natural resources.
As a Wilderness Recreation Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced trail crew to maintain trails and infrastructure in the Gila National Forest. You will have the opportunity to engage with other resource departments, such as hydrology, wildlife, fisheries, and fire management, and contribute to the protection of this unique wilderness area.
