Our Portfolio Managers work with Billing Coordinators making sure we accurately and efficiently bill client properties each month by bringing together utility bills, rent, and other fees into a single bill for each resident. They also act as the main point of contact for properties within their portfolio. In addition, Portfolio Managers review all billed properties for accuracy. Responsibilities
- Inspecting team members' submitted bills to ensure accuracy before delivery
- Resolving billing issues by gathering bills, sending reports, and contacting properties
- Generating resident bills and notices to be sent to residents
- Phone use: Low (About 5% of workday)
- Type: Inbound, Outbound, Internal
- Speaking with: Clients, Property Managers, Utility Providers, Tenants
- Nature of call: Conference Calls, Resident billing, provider bill issues, clarifying questions for clients and property managers
- Capable of delivering on deadlines by proactively prioritizing your workload
- You act with composure, patience, and persistence during stressful situations
- Able to recognize, report, and explain mistakes in a respectful manner
- Committed to quickly learn and adapt to new computer software
- You feel comfortable asking questions in order to further understanding
- Able to solve problems independently, using the resources and tools provided
