Set project quality management objectives through customizing the Quality Program for assigned projects. Oversee project teams' execution of the Quality Program to minimize rework and increase profit retention.Essential FunctionsGeneralVet lessons learned from project teams for content validity and proper contextFacilitate collaboration as needed with key stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficient cross functional operationsChampion operational excellenceReview departmental SOPs and ensure compliance with project teamsStrong self-starting and communication skillsAudit project quality programs and communicate resultsRecognize and communicate common deficient items including methods to avoidActing advocate and resource to organizational departments and project teamsTrain project teams and subcontractors on quality initiatives and processesSolicit feedback and present to leadershipPre-ConstructionAid in completion of constructability reviewsReview selected supplemental instructions / specs for completenessReview contract quality languageProvide guidance for; temporary heat and dehumidification planning, identifying project mockup and testing needs, net value engineering analysis, water intrusion control planningProcurementEnsure schedule quality analysis is completed at scheduled intervals.Define DFOWReview project sprinkler sign off strategyReview building drain assembly analysisEnsure Pre-Op meetings are scheduled, and proper agendas are being used. Attend critical meetings as neededReview finish floor assembly build up analysisConstructionEnsure all summit meetings are heldFacilitate QA / QC inspection customization and program roll out workflowTrack Material VerificationsReview benchmark management proceduresEnsure implementation of various planning and analysis from ProcurementReview ADA ComplianceReview firestopping inspections logReview Occupancy roadmapTurnover & Close OutFacilitate project punch list and turnover program planningReview equipment commissioning, training and turnover statusesEnsure strong project finishRequired ExperienceA bachelor's degree in an area of specialty and 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area is a plus.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Leads and directs the work of others.
