Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, and a strong understanding of financial concepts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double-entry bookkeeping practices.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify account accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting processes and provide financial insights as needed.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks related to financial documentation.
- Collaborate with management to support financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software is essential.
- Familiarity with financial concepts, budgeting, and payroll processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Book Keeping Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
