Consilio's ELS Direct Hire Division is seeking an Attorney Development Coordinator for our law firm client in Washington, DC.
- Salary Range: $70,000 to $78,000
- Core hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the attorney onboarding process, handling Workday actions, preparing personnel files, planning orientation schedules, and conducting onboarding sessions.
- Manages attorney transfers and departures, including Workday actions, communication plans, and exit interviews.
- Coordinates attorney leaves of absence, such as DC Paid Family Leave, and manages related communications.
- Handles bar admissions, annual renewals, and related reporting.
- Responds to employment verification requests for attorneys.
- Supports attorney evaluations by compiling data for review meetings and ensuring timely completion of evaluations.
- Maintains department files, centralizes attorney personnel files, records, and manages department calendars.
- Acts as a resource for attorneys in the DC office.
- Provides support on department projects and special initiatives.
- Works closely with the Attorney Recruiting team on shared projects and priorities.
- Communicates effectively with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Manages Firm resources efficiently and adheres to Firm policies and procedures.
- Performs physical tasks as needed, including sitting, repetitive hand use, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- 3 years of development and/or program coordination experience in a professional services environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in firm software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) and adaptable to learning new software and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.
- Works well in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible with work hours to meet business and operational needs.
