Lawyers on Demand (LOD) is seeking an Employment Paralegal to support one of our global clients in delivering the highest level of service to internal and external clients alike. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a deep understanding of the  Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)  processes, including position statements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will assist with employment-related disputes and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist attorneys with employment litigation matters, including preparation of legal documents, discovery, and motion practice.
• Draft, review, and organize EEOC position statements in response to charges of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
• Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence for employment-related litigation, including preparing trial binders and exhibits.
• Coordinate with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information and evidence for case preparation.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, severance agreements, and internal policies.
• Conduct legal research related to employment law issues, including EEOC regulations, state and federal employment laws, and case law.
• Prepare and file documents with courts and government agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with legal teams to provide support in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation to trial.
• Assist with discovery responses, document production, and e-discovery in employment-related matters.
• Track case deadlines, court filings, and hearings, ensuring timely action.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, depositions, and mediations.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive information related to employment law matters.

Lawyers On Demand (LOD) offers flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
