Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, a degree in finance or accounting, and experience with QuickBooks. Key Responsibilities
- Daily Accounting Tasks: Perform data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions while promptly resolving discrepancies.
- QuickBooks Maintenance: Update and maintain financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
- Document Processing: Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and other financial documents to support operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports, offering insights into financial performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Work with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Audit and Tax Support: Gather documentation and assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial processes as needed.
- Administrative Support: Organize records, respond to inquiries, and provide general support to the finance department.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
