This is a fully on-site, 5 days per week in the office role, located in the Plano, TX area.

The Sr. Loss Mitigation SME/Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality and timely information to all of Loss Mitigation Mortgage Servicing and support wide range of complex initiatives including modification operations, its performance and process improvement, loss mitigation retention workouts, audit and compliance controls, performance improvement, compliance, regulatory reporting, and all other departmental strategies.

A full understanding of Loss Mitigation, Collections, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and REO. Must understand mortgage servicing business processes, key metrics and the data behind the metrics is crucial to the success of this position. Duties include collecting and documenting report requirements for all areas of Loss Mitigation to include handling audits, creating and tracking remediation plans, report prototyping, extracting, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple sources.

The candidate must have extensive, expert-level Mortgage Default Servicing experience with an extensive understanding of all FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC, and private investor/insurer guidelines related to all operations within Loss Mitigation Mortgage Servicing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts side-by-sides to create and update Visio process flows, create and update P&P’s
• Uses Project Management and Project Planning experience to manage audits, projects
• Meets with Loss Mitigation Mortgage Servicing Operations and IT technical partners to gather, analyze, and determine complex reporting/data requirements using best practices and standard methodologies. Able to take ownership and work on high profile projects.
• Assist with review, testing and implementation of all ICE (MSP) as it relates to Loss Mitigation, to include enhancements, updates, and changes. Inclusive of all ICE meetings, manifest review, testing documentation tracking, decisioning tool changes and communication to Default Servicing business partners.
• CFPB and Regulatory Agency Audit reviews, presentations, loan level detail sampling pulls, discussions, and rebuttals, not limited to internal, regulatory, investor/insurer, etc. Identifies and recommends departmental process improvements in addition to technology enhancements to mitigate future findings and reduce company risk.
• Assist on Inbound loan transfers/servicing repurchase analyzation of preliminary data files, loan documents and post-transfer file setup and reconciliation of accounts active in loss mitigation.
• Responsible for maintaining a deep awareness of how a Loss Mitigation Default Servicing business operation works and helping the business explore technology possibilities to execute their roles more effectively.
• Ensures accurate and timely delivery of ad-hoc reports, management reports, dashboards, data files or analysis according to business requirements.

Education and Experience:

• 8 years of experience in a Sr. Loss Mitigation SME/Consultant role required
• 8 years of experience with Loss Mitigation retention options, namely modifications; must have modification operations experience from inception of modification through underwriting, and booking and recording, also experienced on partial claims, VASP program and other investor retention programs designed to mitigate loss and all the customer to retain their home.
• 8 years of experience with ICE Suite of Mortgage Servicing Solutions, such as MSP Loan Servicing System, LMS Decisioning, Collections, FC/BK, REO, Loan Boarding Tool and Invoicing is required
• Experience with ICE MSP data extracts such as BDE and/or eCDE is required
• Experience with various reporting platforms (e.g. Tableau, Visio, Business Objects, etc.) is preferred. P&P revision and Project Management experience required.

Pay: $60.00 - $110.00 per hour
