Position Summary:
The Director of Salesforce Administration, Sales Process, and Data Analytics will lead the strategic oversight of Salesforce CRM and sales operations to optimize revenue growth within the CCM organization. This role is responsible for enhancing CRM functionality, refining sales processes, and leveraging data analytics to support commercial decision-making. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, IT, and finance to drive operational efficiency, improve deal velocity, and enhance customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration & Optimization:
- Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator and architect, ensuring system integrity, security, and scalability for transportation and logistics sales.
- Customize and optimize lead management, account tracking, pricing models, and contract management in Salesforce.
- Integrate Salesforce within CCM to create a unified commercial ecosystem.
- Oversee user roles, permissions, workflows, automation, and system updates to maximize efficiency.
- Lead Salesforce training and adoption across sales, customer service, and operations teams.
Sales Process Optimization & Sales Enablement:
- Design and implement structured sales processes tailored for CCM’s business and expanding business verticals.
- Automate customer onboarding, pricing approvals, and deal tracking to enhance speed-to-market.
- Drive collaboration between sales, operations, and customer service to streamline handoffs and improve customer experience.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle (e.g., quoting, RFPs, contract negotiations) and implement technology-driven solutions.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards providing insights into chassis utilization, pricing trends, and market demand.
- Provide sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and revenue trend reports to support executive decision-making.
- Leverage data-driven insights to refine sales strategies, improve customer segmentation, and enhance profitability.
- Monitor win/loss trends, customer retention, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Work with finance and revenue management teams to optimize pricing strategies and contract performance analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in Salesforce administration, sales operations, or data analytics within transportation, intermodal, or logistics industries.
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification required; Advanced Admin or Sales Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
- Understanding of chassis leasing, drayage, intermodal transportation, and logistics sales processes.
- Experience with pricing models, contract lifecycle management, and asset utilization analytics.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel/SQL expertise.
- Knowledge of integrating Salesforce across and organization.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with major shipping lines, rail providers, trucking companies, or intermodal asset management firms.
- Understanding of market demand analytics, asset allocation strategies, and logistics cost structures.
- Change management experience in CRM system overhauls, Salesforce migrations, and sales automation projects.
