We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Designer, you will ensure that your designs reflect construction methods compatible with the company proposals, and you will ensure that owner goals and priorities are clearly understood. You will develop drawings in a timely manner using the company’s software and coordinate details and materials with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, and Site Superintendent. Meetings with the Owner and Project Manager will help you gain a thorough understanding of the project and develop innovative design solutions.
In the Quality Control aspect of your role, you will ensure all designs are code compliant and produce clear, concise, and complete construction documents. You will stay current with the latest code changes, field verify existing conditions and dimensions, and cross-reference drawings to ensure consistency.
As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural design documents. You will ensure that drawings are completed within the established timeline and take responsibility for the delivery of documents per CCC Standards. You will initiate coordination reviews of drawings with the Project Manager, Consultants, and Design/Build Subcontractors, and visit job sites during construction to apply field knowledge to current and future projects.

A 2-year drafting degree in Design Technology or a related field, or being an architect without a license, is required. Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of the International Builders Code, commercial and state codes, uniform dwelling code, and local municipal codes and ordinances.
While we offer hybrid work opportunities, this role will primarily be performed in office located in Bismarck, ND.
