Consolidated, a cooperative in Central Ohio dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and communities, is seeking a Gas Driver/Service Technician.

As a local propane delivery driver (at home every night), you'll be part of a team of professionals committed to serving our members and community. You'll be responsible for bulk propane tank fills as well as installation, maintenance, operation, removal, rearrangement, and inspection of propane tanks and/or natural gas line facilities working in a safe and efficient manner and providing exceptional customer service. Education and Experience Required:
- To operate our propane vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class B CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years of closely related propane experience desired.
- Ability to develop a good working knowledge of propane and/or natural gas standards, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain D.O.T. Operator Qualification certification and C.E.T.P. Certification – training will be provided.
- Must reside within 30 minutes of reporting location for on-call duty.
- Able to perform after hours duties and be part of an on-call rotation schedule.
- Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies.
- Accuracy, self-motivation, and emotional intelligence are required.
- Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Job Knowledge; Standards & Practices; Equipment Operations; Metering Operations; Natural Gas Distribution, Installation, & Maintenance; Propane Delivery; Propane Installation / Set Up; Technical Credibility; Technical Documentation; Troubleshooting & Outage Restoration; and Working with Basic Hand, Power Tools, & Technology).
