Job Description
The Technical Specialist will act as the primary technical resource for MDMS operations, leading a team to ensure consistent business data delivery. They will manage daily operations and exception handling to meet service level requirements, oversee the planning, development, testing, and implementation of MDMS and AMI Architecture enhancements, and ensure modifications are fully operational, including automation and exception management. Additionally, they will troubleshoot application issues, execute data workarounds, resolve delivery problems, and develop and refine reporting tools for managing MDMS data activities, including delivery, provisioning, management, error handling, and system configuration.

- Function as primary AMI Operations technical resource in relation to all operational matters related to the MDMS.
- Provide day-to-day operational support of MDMS to ensure delivery of business data is sustained.
- Engage with daily operation and exception management activities to ensure all service level delivery requirements are met.
- Coordinate team members working to support the planning, development, testing and implementation of enhancements, modifications and maintenance of the MDMS and AMI Architecture.
- Ensure that the modifications made to the MDMS are fully operational both from the automation and exception management processes.
- Engage with application troubleshooting when defects are identified, execute data workarounds, and resolve business delivery issues.
- Develop and refine business reporting and tools necessary to manage all MDMS data activities related to data delivery, device provisioning, data management, error handling and administrative management of system configuration.
- Monitor Oracle database and troubleshoot, resolve issues, monitor alert log, and trace files.
- Provide analysis and capacity planning for database growth.
- Work closely with Oracle Platinum Support and Oracle Advance Customer Support Teams in maintaining the environment.
- Partial telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.
