Job Description
Deliver services and solutions for Consolidated Edison's Gas Organization as part of the Gas Technology Support Team by utilizing the Power Platform suite and SharePoint. Provide additional technical support for any computer and technology issues, as needed.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Build custom applications using Power Apps to address specific business needs, considering user experience, data integration, and scalability for the Gas Organization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and design efficient solutions using Power Platform tools
- Design and develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization and analysis
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources, such as SharePoint, SQL databases, cloud services, and third-party applications
- Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to ensure that Power Platform solutions align with business goals and requirements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power Platform solutions, including design, development, and configuration details.
- Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement
- Create automated workflows and processes using Power Automate to streamline tasks and improve operational efficiency
- Ensures that all work is properly documented. Capture and document the details of issues and troubleshooting steps that were taken.
- Makes recommendations for improving application design and implementation in light of process changes or changes in the business or technology environment.
- Provide technical support for issues via phone / email / ticketing system or in person addressing hardware, software, telephony and facility related problems.
- Follow up on recommendations, developing tangible implementation proposals and if approved developing detailed plans.
- Participate in multiple projects as a key technical resource that includes implementation, issue resolution, and development.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
