What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Delivery Driver / Warehouse position at Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc (CED)?
CED is currently looking for a night truck driver/warehouse associate to join the team in Keene, New Hampshire. You do not need a CDL to drive our vehicles.
The hours for this position are from 11am - 7pm on weekdays.
Ideal candidates will be able to deliver or pick-up merchandise to and from our customers in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner. Other responsibilities for the position include inspecting the vehicle, reporting any mechanical problems to the Warehouse Manager, and making sure every delivery is signed for and authorized.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to perform daily vehicle inspections
- Ability to manually lift heavy boxes of stock from shelves
- Ability to load and unload trucks from ground level or platform
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Ability to count bundles, boxes, reels, coils, and pallets
- Shipping and receiving warehouse procedures
