Warehouse Associate - Full-Time Position in Charlotte, NC
At CED Charlotte, we strive to be the #1 electrical distributor in the commercial project market by building strong partnerships with our customers and vendors. We are looking for a dedicated warehouse associate to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This full-time warehouse associate position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, with occasional overtime and rare weekend hours. The pay range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Duties:
- Perform various warehouse associate duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers to move and stack items. Being forklift certified is required for this role.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in order fulfillment by ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products.
- Build pallets or crates for shipping purposes.
- Ability to cut and organize wire ranging from #12 awg up to #750 mcm.
Requirements:
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects 50 pounds and standing for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking purposes.
Additional Information:
