Looking for an IN PERSON work environment? Want to help start up a new location for an established company? CED's Management Training Program is a multi-phase training program designed to prepare candidates interested in business and sales to manage their own business--a Profit Center location.
We are excited to grow our new location north of downtown in Minneapolis!
CED is a growing, nationwide company with over 700 locations. We are expanding our business in many locations and offer an incredible way to jumpstart your career or transition to a role with more focus on sales and real business management.
Throughout the paid 2-2.5 year training program, Management Trainees are exposed to all aspects of the electrical distribution field. This challenging program requires a strong commitment from each trainee and includes, but is not limited to:
- Business Management
- Sales/Business Development
- Operations
- Electrical Supply Knowledge
- Warehouse Operations
- Supplier Product Seminars
- Counter Sales
- Inventory Control
- Purchasing
- Corporate Administrative Exposure
- Customer Relations
Each trainee’s development is a combination of mentoring via on-the-job, classroom, and online module training.
We are looking for people who aren't afraid of a fast paced and sales-oriented environment and have a desire to grow one of our business locations. Individuals should be self-motivated, sales oriented, geographically flexible, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Management opportunities could be throughout the state of Minnesota or NW Wisconsin. Relocation will be required in the upper Midwest during the program.
A 4 year degree is required--business related strongly preferred.
We are also hiring for positions in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
