CED's Management Training Program prepares candidates interested in business and sales to take over management of one of our 3E Profit Center locations.
Throughout the 2-2.5 year paid training program, trainees learn all aspects of the electrical distribution field and management of a business. This challenging leadership program requires a strong commitment and encompasses, but is not limited to:
- Business Management
- Sales/Business Development
- Leadership training
- Operations
- Electrical Supply Knowledge
- Warehouse Operations
- Supplier Product Seminars
- Counter Sales
- Inventory Control
- Purchasing
- Customer Relations
Each trainee’s development is a combination of mentoring via on-the-job, classroom, and home-study training with a focus on supply knowledge and business management skills as well as sales.
We are looking for people who thrive in a fast paced and sales-oriented environment with a desire to grow one of our business locations. Individuals should be self-motivated, sales oriented, geographically flexible, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. A 4 year degree is required--business related strongly preferred.
Starting location: Windsor Heights, Cedar Rapids, or Ottumwa. Relocation required in Iowa (or Nebraska if preferred) after the 1st year with employer provided moving package.
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required for the position.
