Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grinder Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Grinders and Excavator as other various types of heavy equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of landscaping projects and internal processing yard maintaining safety standards on and offsite projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate Grinder and Excavator to grind green material to produce good quality Mulch.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Checking all fluid levels, visually inspecting equipment. Replacing grades, cutting edges, teeth to keep high standard efficency on the equipment.
- Daily maintenance activities such as: cleaning machinery, clean and replaced air/fuel and oil filters. Grease, service, and equipment set up.
- Capable to understand and Follow instructions, using assigned equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Monitor the process and operation to maintain our high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing equipment after use.
- Flexible to adjust into fast changing environment.
- Flexible commuting to different locations.
Requirements
- Clean driver license.
- CDL License (Class A or B) Preferred
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
