Warehouse Associate

Consolidated Hospitality Supplies (CHS), a leading hotel distribution company and provider of operating supplies and equipment (OS&E), is currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate in our Fontana, CA Distribution Center. 

This person will be responsible for receiving, processing, filling, packing, and shipping products from our warehouse. Ideal candidates work safely and are reliable, dependable, team players who are efficient and accurate. 

Hours:   Day Shift

Pay:        Starts at $21/hour with annual raises Excellent Benefits Package 

Responsibilities:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks safely and counting and checking products for damages
• Stock and pick product accurately
• Ensure all product and orders are processed safely and accurately 
• Re-pack product for orders. Use scan guns, radio frequency (RF) scanners, computers, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively and as needed to perform job duties
• Maintain proper inventory controls and ensure order accuracy
• Operate power equipment (such as forklifts) as needed. Offer suggestions for process improvements 
• Help maintain a clean and safe working environment in the Warehouse

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 1 to 2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Dependable and reliable

• Ability to operate a computer (Outlook, Excel, Word), write legibly, and do basic math (add, subtract, multiply) 
• Ability to drive Industrial Power Equipment (such as forklifts)
• Experience with RF guns and WMS systems preferred
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Adaptable and able to embrace change and continuous improvements
• Performs well as a member of a team as well as independently
