We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineering Specialist - Sheet Metal to join our team in Hannibal, MO. As a key member of our engineering department, you will work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and identify opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have strong design principles knowledge, including bend radius, tolerances, and material constraints. Experience with Creo or Solidworks 3D modeling software is preferred. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the production of sheet metal components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and release new products.
- Work with various materials to create functional, durable, and cost-effective designs.
- Provide support to production and quality teams during manufacturing and testing processes.
- Identify root cause and corrective action(s) for design-related issues.
