Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing tooling and fixtures, as well as designing workstation layouts that produce high-quality products. You will also manage large capital projects with strict timelines and balance smaller projects to meet the needs of all production areas.
- Design process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle times, and improve product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing-related issues related to material, process, or personnel.
- Assist in current and future capital projects that improve or expand manufacturing capabilities while adhering to strict timelines.
- Plan, design, and assess workstations, fixturing, and tooling for current and future manufacturing processes.
- Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, and provide advice on issues within the engineering field.
- Document all manufacturing processes and communicate them effectively to the manufacturing operation.
