At Consolidated Machine and Welding, we are looking for a talented Sr. Fabrication Designer to join our team in Hannibal, MO. This role involves working directly with customers and suppliers to confirm compliance with manufacturer guidelines and make suggested improvements.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of design principles, such as bend radius, tolerances, and material constraints. Experience with Creo or Solidworks 3D modeling software is preferred. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the production of sheet metal components and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and release new products.
- Work with various materials to create functional, durable, and cost-effective designs.
- Develop new product designs, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics, and other technical information.
- Provide support to production and quality teams during manufacturing and testing processes.
- Offer timely and effective customer technical support and process new application project requests.
