Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is steam sterilizer (autoclave) manufacturing company and a long-standing leader in the life sciences and health care industry. We are seeking a customer service & sales support specialist to join our team. We need a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude, the desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly. This goal-oriented position is for someone who will provide the highest quality customer service while maintaining and developing accounts to meet sales targets and increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with customers and evaluates needs in order to recommend, sell and support innovative solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
- Responds to customer inquiries, deescalates challenging communications, troubleshoots, and processes parts sales from start to finish
- Develops strong long-term business relationships with customer base
- Identifies opportunities to grow sales by researching potential product/service areas that may benefit customers, educating customers on product line and services
- Maintains current knowledge of industry and market trends as well as technical knowledge with an understanding of products and services. Attends educational workshops and trainings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven history of customer service expertise required
- Highly organized, self-starter with a desire to learn a new product line
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Very strong communication skills with the confidence to clearly and effectively relay our product line to new and existing customers, promoting sales and earning their trust
- Ability to adapt to change, set priorities, and balance sales with administrative duties
- Highly tech savvy with computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- CRM experience preferred. i.e. Salesforce.com
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with an ERP system is a plus
- Experience in a small business setting is a plus
