Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Responsible for management and completion of action items on the annual compliance calendar.
- Create safety awareness with all employees by leading the safety committee, oversight of safety submittals, and implementing safety initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and modify site-specific Health Programs such as Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Hazardous Waste, Ergonomics, etc.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine their cause and recommend countermeasures to prevent future incident.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in related field of study, minimum of 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience, prior EHS experience in a Manufacturing environment, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
