Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Manufacturing Aerospace (7:00AM - 3:30PM)

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in City of Industry is currently looking for a Shipping Administrator to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operation Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in City of Industry, CA.

Hourly Rate: $19 - $21 DOE with Overtime Available

Essential Job Functions/Duties

• Prepares bills of lading or dray tickets for each shipment and checks and records all items loaded for shipment.
• Upon completion of shipment, closes out orders and forwards document to production planning and accounting departments.
• Assist with updating tracking logs.
• Notifies supervisor when major discrepancies occur, over-shipments, major quality discrepancies or substitutions have been made.
• Assists with Maintenance of other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, dunnage, packing slips, etc.
• On received goods, has the ability to check and count all items unloaded, trucks, or trailers. Checks suppliers' count and reports discrepancies to carrier and to purchasing office.
• Collects information for damage claims on in-transit damage.
• Places Purchase orders for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assist with maintaining in/outbound and priority reporting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma preferred but not required
• Experience1 year of experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a Plus
