Manufacturing and Production Entry Level Positions - 2nd Shift

CPP Syracuse is seeking full-time production workers on the 2nd shift to join our aerospace team. This includes a $2.00 shift differential along with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a 5% bonus program. The hourly rate is $20 per hour.
The 2nd shift operates Monday through Friday, with both full- and part-time positions available.
Primary Purpose:
We are hiring for various manufacturing and production positions in aerospace. Qualified candidates applying to this role will have the opportunity to discuss specific roles they are interested in and qualified for. Positions are open at CPP Syracuse, located in Chittenango, NY, and there are openings on a variety of shifts.
Positions We're Hiring For:
- Dimensional Operator
- Finishers
- Patch and Wrap
- Investing Operator
- NDT Techs (X-ray, UT, FPI)
Candidates offered employment are required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background study prior to employment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Ability to follow written procedures and standard work
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid job history with one year of recent or prior employment preferred
- Flexible on shift including working swing or weekends
- Desire to work with your hands in a production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required; however, candidates not meeting this requirement who possess relevant experience will be considered
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting
- Some positions require vision screening with or without corrective lenses
Working Conditions:
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
- The physical effort applied in this job includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, or shoveling
