Job Overview:
We are actively seeking entry-level Operations Associates for our Chittenango, NY facility. As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for ensuring that your specific job process is completed so manufacturing deadlines are met on-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- You could be working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve objectives.
- You could be using various equipment, such as computers, robots, metal shear, wheelbrator, hydraulic press, plasma torch, grinders, cut-off saw, cranes, and forklifts.
- You could be inspecting and preparing materials for the melting process.
- You could be building and deconstructing crucibles.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required; we provide training.
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Forklift license a plus but not required.
- Able to read, understand, and comprehend documents.
- Able to speak effectively and interact with team members, engineers, and leadership.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Able to use basic gages and measuring devices.
- Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
