Full Job Description
Consolidated Resource Northeast Inc. is seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll Specialist. This position is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the Company along with processing weekly payroll. This position is accountable for clear, timely communication and paperwork to upper management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Gathering information on hours worked from each employee for weekly payroll processing.
- Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system.
- Process payroll information (e.g. new hires, re-hires, address changes, changes to tax withholding, benefit information, unemployment claims, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Prepares accounts payable reports; reviews and reconciles periodic reports to maintain current reconciliation status for cash and disbursement accounts.
- Analyzes and tracks accounts receivable amounts; prepares analysis of accounts as required.
- Manage and maintain all company credit card accounts.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Maintaining confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 Years of experience
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits principles and practices.
- Knowledge of the laws, rules, and regulations that apply to payroll and benefit policies and practices.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and guidelines.
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting software applications.
- principles and practices in problem solving challenges arising in payroll administration.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of payroll and personnel records.
- Ability to compile, evaluate, and reconcile a variety of accounting records and reports as well as the ability to make arithmetic computations accurately and with reasonable speed.
- Ability to perform a variety of accounting functions and to change priorities quickly and maintain accuracy level.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
- Ability to set and follow effective work priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Must have proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and familiar with payroll software and systems.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements.
- Experience with Paylocity, SAGE 100 Contractor or SAGE Paperless a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
