Business Analyst

Consolidated Solutions, a Cleveland, OH marketing execution and technology solutions provider, is looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst.

The business analyst will report directly to the senior management team and will analyze our current workflows and provide details and documentation that will be used to create solutions that will improve workflow efficiencies and quality. This person will become a subject matter expert on our entire workflow from a client submitting a job via various platforms until it is shipped.

The analyst will assist in creating a design for an updated workflow that includes all necessary business requirements. They will then work directly with our technology division to provide information needed to develop a system that meets these needs. The analyst will communicate and ensure through testing that all stages of development meet the needs of sales/our clients and production. Once final, the analyst will ensure all appropriate parties are aware of the updated workflow and provide training and documentation. 

This position requires: 

• Background in IT, Print or print management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Very strong communication skills – the ability to communicate with production, technology, management, clients and vendors
• Previous experience in a similar position as an analyst / process improvement
• Very strong writing skills
• Ability to create documentation that is easy to follow and understand
• Ability to solve problems; come up with solutions to problems and communicate them to management/technology division in a comprehensive and effective manner
• Ability to take into account various opinions and develop a solution that is the best for the company and enforce the solution in a professional manner
• Ability to collect large of amounts of information, data and put them in an easy to read, organized document
• Ability to ask questions in order to obtain all necessary information

Position Overview:

• Become a subject matter expert / technical advisor to assist in developing software workflow solutions
• Meet with sales, customers and department managers to understand current applications and workflows in order to formulate a solution
• Facilitate testing for print and proof of concept to support proposed workflow solution
• Focus on workflow, applications, customer need and determining a solution for the total need. 
• Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Collect customer requirements, determine technical issues, and design reports to meet data analysis needs.
• Work with various departments to identify & document current processes.
• Work with current technology, IS and design departments to learn processes as well as template creation and management.
