What are the responsibilities and job description for the Household Sales Rep position at Consolidated Water Group?
Specific Job Function:
- Prospect for potential customers through various means, including but not limited to “cold calling” and “door-to-door” methodologies with the purpose of generating new business and the understanding that these activities comprise approximately 50% of this role.
- Proactively generate appointments with both existing and potential customers who are reasonably expected to have an interest in the Company’s product lines and ability to qualify for Culligan Payment Plans.
- Follow all guidelines to complete rental contracts correctly and thoroughly, then submit them via the proper channels as determined by the Sales Manager.
- Identify specific customer needs and evaluate all revenue generating opportunities.
- Create and present proposals in the format appropriate for each customer to educate and recommend solutions according to Culligan’s product and service line.
- Analyze customers’ water composition and deliver sales presentations.
- Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and other promotional or educational events as deemed beneficial or necessary by the Company.
- Meet or exceed minimum requirements as defined by the Company for sales volume expectations, sales-generating activities, units rented/sold, and any other defined minimum requirements.
- Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of sales experience preferred.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
