What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Operations Associate position at Consortia Aerospace Group?
Our company is looking for a full time Shipping/Receiving and Parts Clerk. This position is responsible for documenting, tracking, and general oversight of the receiving/shipping functions of the company location. The position also requires accountability for the proper documentation, sorting, and distribution of the parts department in-house stock.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Keep inventory of specialized/calibrated tools used by mechanics ensuring they are being checked in and out of the parts room properly.
- Responsible for preparing and packaging products along with associated paperwork for properly documenting timely shipment to vendors and/or customers consistent with company standard procedures and work instructions.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Studies shipping notices, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Ensures that goods are packaged and protected for shipping according to specifications.
- Must verify all goods and information received against purchase orders and shipping documents and then follow standard operating procedures.
- Prepares items to be shipped using proper boxing methods and spacers, fillers and protective padding.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of parts, tools, consumables, and shelf-life items.
- Responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are received properly and delivered to personnel in a timely manner.
- Assist in ordering parts as required.
Requirements:
- Drug and alcohol pre-employment
- High school Diploma
- Strong computer skills (previous Corridor experience is a Plus)
- Excellent communication and language skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
