Our company is looking for Receptionist to join our team to assist management, visitors, customers, and employees with various administrative needs. The tasks of this position include, but are not limited to:
Job Description:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Greet and assist visitors, internal personnel and clients in a helpful, professional and courteous manner
· Answer multiple lines, route calls, and take messages
· Provide support for shipping & receiving, as needed (note heavy lifting is not required)
· Receive and log incoming visitors
· Contact appropriate clients and assure they sign the log when they pick up deliveries
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
· Issue visitor badges and communicate building security protocol
· Assure that all individuals entering the building display a Visitor or SITA badge
· Monitor activities in the lobby area and entrance doors for any potentially hazardous or suspicious behaviors
· Maintain a clean, safe and orderly reception, clerical and kitchen work area
· Prepare coffee, as needed for clients/visitors, as well as maintaining supplies of condiments fully stocked and available in the kitchen
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
· Assist with preparation and execution of various events of the Company
· Other clerical or administrative duties, as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to interact confidently and professionally in person and on the telephone
· Ability to maintain a positive and courteous attitude at all times
· Ability to fully function in a Microsoft Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and the internet) primarily for data entry and display design functions.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and maximize efficiencies during slow periods by prioritizing assignments
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within office/facilities
Environment
· customer service field(s) not required, but a plus.
