Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and budgets to senior leadership.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
