What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Sales Analyst position at Constant Contact?
We are looking for a Lead Sales Analyst to join our Data & Analytics organization. In this role you will partner with our global go-to-market organization, lead the design and implementation of our GTM analytics strategy, conduct experiments, and work with junior analysts, and our BI and DE team to build out needed reporting. What you’ll do:
- Lead the design and implementation of our GTM analytics strategy, working directly with sales leadership to define KPIs and success metrics. Work with the CRM technical team to drive simplicity in data.
- Drive data-first experimentation in sales motions and territory planning
- Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting to track sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting in collaboration with our BI and DE team
- Develop data inquiries, and conduct data exploration and data mining to determine program effectiveness and predict future performance
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure insights are leading to action and measuring the business impact
- Lead junior analysts and serve as a technical leader in the GTM analytics space
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as business, math, statistics, or computer science)
- 4 years of experience in Sales/GTM analytics, with demonstrated success in revenue operations, pipeline analysis, and sales systems
- Experience with modern sales tech stack beyond Salesforce SalesCloud (e.g. Gong, Zoominfo, MarketingCloud, etc.)
- Strong experience with SQL and Excel and Salesforce
- Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
- Must have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple business partners
- Resourceful and a motivated problem solver. You enjoy and have demonstrated ability tackling complex problems, drawing inferences from data, and using your analysis skills and business acumen to identify solutions.
- Strong communication skills. An ability to talk both to the technical teams responsible for the data and comfortable explaining data and conclusions to non-technical teams
- Prior experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus
- Prior experience with Python and/or R a plus
