We are a well-established, family-owned business, in mid-town Mobile seeking a dedicated, professional, and personable individual to greet customers, answer and forward calls, and serve as customer liaison. As this person will be the first contact to vendors, customers, and guests, the qualified candidate will need to be attentive, have a well-groomed appearance, show maturity, respect, and have a positive attitude at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to attend work, in-person, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Must enjoy speaking with visitors, vendors, and customers, in-person, on the phone, and via e-mail.
  • Processes and reviews customer orders, being detail oriented and having the ability to recognize errors and omissions.
  • Acts as a customer ambassador, diplomatically determining their needs, providing support to ensure product fulfillment, and assists in solving problems if needed.
  • Performs administrative duties to include maintaining files, planning, and decorating office for special events, and assisting the president and other staff clerically as needed.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time with multiple interruptions.
  • Ability to initiate and complete projects independently (with little or no supervision), accurately and often under deadline pressure.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across all departments with a willingness to step up and assist in various tasks beyond assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Prior experience working in related field with customer service a plus.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
