Position Details
Position : Junior Varsity Softball Coach
Assignment / Responsibility : Constantine Public Schools is in search of a coach who can successfully help lead the softball program. Constantine High School has great facilities with outstanding community support for our athletic programs. The candidate for this position needs to be motivated and work hard for our school and community. Our coach needs to be able to prepare the team members socially, mentally and physically in order to meet the challenges of being a student athlete. They need to support the entire program with goals and planning. The coach must also possess the ability to work well with other coaches within the district and have open communication with the administration.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of the sport and rules
- Coaching experience preferred
- Documented record of success in handling high school age student athletes
- Experience coaching softball and / or playing at the high school level
- Possess strong personal ethics, be a positive professional role model, and demand from athletes a high standard of conduct and discipline
- Must be able to work within a budget
- Effective communication skills with athletes, coaches, parents, and administration
