What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Harvest Cellar Worker - Lingua Franca Winery (Willamette Valley) position at Constellation Brands?
Job Description
Company Summary
Founded in 2015 by Master Sommelier Larry Stone, Lingua Franca was inspired by an extraordinary vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley. Our young and talented winemaking team provides a place for you to contribute your experience towards our continued growth.
Our recent partnership with Constellation Brands has brought a new level of excitement to our team – a portfolio that includes iconic brands like Robert Mondavi, The Prisoner, Booker, Sea Smoke, and Ruffino.
Position Summary
Lingua Franca is seeking a diverse group of interns to join our close-knit team for this upcoming 2025 harvest season. Most positions will start mid-August and work through mid-November.
All our work is guided by respect for the environment, encouraging a healthy diversity of life around and among us. Our vineyard is certified Organic. Our winemaking methods are traditional, and we work with a light hand. We do not conform to a predetermined style and allow the places to express themselves in each bottling, focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
As a team we will work through vineyard sampling and all harvest related tasks, music included. Lunch is a tradition around here and will be provided while fruit is coming in through the end of pressing.
Applicants must have a good attitude and a desire to learn. We ask that you are flexible in your work environment, respect your team members, able to work long hours, have attention to detail and a desire to explore not only how, but why we make the wines we do.
