Position Summary

High West Distillery & Saloon is seeking a committed Host to provide a 5-star guest experience that is consistent with our high standards and values for customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, hardworking, reliable and able to take charge in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a welcoming disposition. Responsibilities :

Positively represent High West and its values
Set a warm, welcoming tone as you greet and seat customers
Maintain front entrance and coat check organization and cleanliness
Provide professional and accurate information to guests and coworkers
Be a liaison between our kitchen and service staff
Help with event set-up and flow as needed
Coordinate wait lists and reservations
Organize menus and assist servers

Minimum Qualifications

One to two years of experience in restaurant environment, preferably in host position.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule)

Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high stress environment.

Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Preferred Qualifications

General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits

Physical Requirements / Work Environment :

Works outdoors / indoors

Works in warm / cold climates

Works in high places

Works on wet surfaces

Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and / or toxic chemicals

Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic

Must be able to move up to 55 lbs

Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
