The salary for this role ranges from $138,600 to $154,000 for Sr Staff Engineer level.
Job Description
This Engineering role involves advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. As a resource and technical expert to engineers, you will possess excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, as well as detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
You will provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs. Your technical expertise and consultation will be sought through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
You will also directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations. You will perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision, applying engineering principles, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
• 7 years' engineering experience with 1 year as an Engineer 3
• Solid performance (last year in top half of Engr 3 band) with demonstration of FLS competencies
• Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Experience
