Job Description
This Senior Power Plant Engineer will perform advanced technical/engineering problem-solving in support of Power plant operations while acting as a resource and technical expert to engineers. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for gas turbine and combustion turbine operations in the Mid-Atlantic region
- Developing, managing, and implementing engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- Resolving equipment and system problems through technical expertise and consultation
- Fulfilling engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
- Performing engineering tasks applying engineering principles
The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Engineering, 7 years of professional experience, and completed skills and knowledge development training in designated areas. Preferred qualifications include gas turbine experience, DCS/PLC controls experience, and demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers.
