Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Reactor Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the reactor control room
- Monitoring and controlling reactor parameters to prevent deviations from normal operating conditions
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant performance
Requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent, Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST), Successfully complete a FLS Leadership Assessment, and Meet one of the following qualifications:
- 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility
- 1.5 years in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at a military reactor
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or physical sciences, or professional engineer license with 1.5 years as a qualified non-licensed operator
