This position is available for O&M Tech level II and III based on experience.
Hourly Rate : $35.22 - $56.96, commensurate with experience.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role is essential for operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high voltage electrical equipment, ensuring optimal plant operations and maximizing asset value.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system to oversee work orders and spare parts inventory. Execute maintenance and repair on various plant equipment including pumps, gearboxes, turbines, and valves.
- Monitor and maintain turbines, generators, and other associated auxiliary equipment.
- Train and mentor other employees in preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Lead identification of equipment issues and suggest effective solutions.
- Implement predictive and preventive maintenance protocols.
- Conduct electrical maintenance on generators and transformers.
- Perform troubleshooting on power circuits, motors, and transformers using electrical testing instruments.
- Create operating procedures to ensure safe and consistent equipment operation.
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards while maintaining housekeeping protocols.
- Assist in requisitioning necessary parts and supplies.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
POSITION SCOPE
This position requires effective communication across all organizational levels and proficiency with PLCs, Ovation, and GE Mark 6 Digital Controls Systems.
