This role involves overseeing the daily operations of our Nuclear Power Generating Station. You will be responsible for directing a team of reactor operators in controlling plant operations and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
">Key Responsibilities
- Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained.
- Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct procedural steps to stabilize the plant following emergency or abnormal conditions.
- Oversee special projects determined by the Operations Director/Operations Managers.
- Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating Procedures and Abnormal Operating Procedures to support safe, efficient, cost-effective operation of the Nuclear Generating Station Units.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST) pre-employment tests.
- Meet or exceed one of the following qualifications: 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
