**Job Description:**
This role involves performing advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations while acting as a resource and technical expert to engineers. It requires excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, as well as detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
The ideal candidate will provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs, and provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert when consulted to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
Directly fulfilling engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations, this role also involves performing engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, proper configuration management, and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
Additionally, the successful candidate will perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs, recommending equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need a S in Engineering, with a preference for a S. in Engineering and 2 years Nuclear or related engineering experience for the Entry Level E01 Engineer &ndash New Graduate position, and a S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5 years engineering experience for the Senior E03 Engineer position.
