Job Description

Role Summary:

This Engineering role can be filled at Mid-level or Senior Engineer level and requires advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs, providing in-depth technical expertise.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering issues through complete task management.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision, applying engineering principles.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to proper configuration management and standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A S. in Engineering and 2 years Nuclear or related engineering experience; or B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5 years engineering experience.
