Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Commercial Property Technician to join our team at Constellation Energy.
As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our commercial properties through preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect facilities to identify areas requiring maintenance and provide feedback on supplier effectiveness.
- Perform assigned work orders according to schedule and participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities such as painting, carpentry work, and minor plumbing to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance tasks as allowed without a license, adhering to state law requirements.
- Utilize technology to enhance productivity and drive continuous improvement for service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Manager to estimate time and materials needed for repairs and provide written quotes for out-of-scope work.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform HVAC Technician duties with Electrical skills, Mechanic/Welder, or Plumber/Pipefitter duties.
- BAS Management experience.
- Familiarity with Fire Life Safety equipment testing, maintenance, and light repairs, as well as Generator testing, maintenance, and light repairs.
- Ability to maintain, repair, inspect, and adjust facilities equipment and infrastructure within their skillset.
- Superior communication and leadership skills, both verbally and in written form.
Requirements:
Minimum 12 years of work experience in heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing.
Valid driver's license required.
